Rafya was a licensed massage therapist for eight years before becoming a nurse. She began practicing massage therapy in 2011, and in 2019, with nearly a decade at the table behind her, she started nursing school, finishing in time to be launched into emergency medicine at the height of COVID. She has worked the emergency room ever since, and still does: an active, licensed RN, board-certified in adult and pediatric emergency nursing, spending part of her week in one of medicine’s most demanding rooms.

Kinetic brings the two careers back together. The table came first. The ER added assessment, triage, and calm under pressure. Every session runs on both: a therapist’s hands and a clinician’s eye for what matters.

Away from the table she trains in the gym and in martial arts, so strength work, combat sports, and heavy training loads are familiar territory. Golfers and paddle sports players are a specialty of the practice.

Rafya works with clients in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Dari, Farsi, and beginner Spanish, across Northern New Jersey and New York City.
